Day 4

October 4th - Traveled from Lethbridge to Calgary. We saw a heard of bison along the way. Went to our friend MYs. We met MY through Lindsay in BC.
She had a supply of Pocky dessert snacks for Hannah:) We had lunch at a diner down the street. The diner had mini cheez whiz packets in thier condiment caddy. Yep! Scooped those up for the road trip...lol
Departing Calgary we drove by Olympic Park. This adds to the others I have seen.
Vancouver Olympic Park and Salt Lake City Olympic Park.
Saun was serving in the National Guard during the Atlanta Olympics.
He pulled security there for the whole month including during the Special Olympics.

Next stop was Kamloops, BC to visit with our friend Lindsay. Lindsay and I met while I was at  Calumet. She was a buyer for one of our customers. Long story short we became friends and have stayed in touch even after she departed her last employer.
We drove through the Rocky Mtns and Banff to get to Kam. What an AMAZING drive that was. Again something a camera cannot capture.
We arrived to Kam pretty late, but still had a good visit. Another box of Pocky for Hannah.
Checked into the hotel and slept good.

My shoulders are feeling a little lighter this morning. We are no longer on a SCHEDULE!! YES!!
We can now mosey forward to the second half our trip.

While in Canada we can only use our cphones for texting.
Will keep in touch as long as the hotels here have WiFi

PS - Thank goodness for seat warmers in the truck. The sunshine is so bright, but air is chilly.
